What is the purpose of Education?
Is it just inputting facts and data into the minds of students? Or is it to prepare next generation of parents, citizens, workers and leaders for the future?
Are literacy and numeracy skills enough to prepare them for future?
The biggest fact today in education is that we are far too often selling our students short. We give them a decent knowledge of language and numeracy skills. We train them to jump over hurdles by the name of examining boards………..And then we cast them rudderless in the world without once thinking the kind of critical skills they need to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.
Today, there is a mismatch between what students learn in the classroom and what they need in real life outside the classroom. If the purpose of education is to prepare students for the world, it seems we are not accomplishing that aim particularly well.This is where IEKA Group comes into picture!
Who are We?
We are a group of like-minded determined people – writers, educators, designers, techies and common people who are not ready to accept that education is only input and implementation of facts.
We have taken up the challenge to fill this lacuna in our current education system such that people's today is better than their yesterday.
We have taken the Responsibility to bring Life Skill Education to 100 Crore Kids Worldwide.
